Radio Frequency Integrated Circuit (RFIC) is essential for portable and mobile electronic products, and there is a huge demand on experience RFIC designers with the knowledge on wireless/mobile communications, both in academics and industrial. Conventionally, RFIC design follows the traditional analog circuit methodology, and it is possible with lower integration and operating frequency of the IC. With an increase in the operating frequency, low power and high speed requirement of the RFIC today, new design challenges evolved, and RFIC designers need to be equipped to face these challenges.
